Review Summary
The implementation has a critical blocker at line 51 in app/create_file.py. The code contains if len(file_list) == 0: sys.exit(0), which causes the program to exit early when only directories are specified without files. The test test_create_only_dirs fails because it provides -d dir1 dir2 dir3 dir4 expecting the directories to be created, but the program exits before doing anything.
To fix this: Remove the early exit condition or change it to exit only when both directory_list and file_list are empty:
if len(directory_list) == 0 and len(file_list) == 0:
sys.exit(0)This ensures directories can be created independently without requiring files to be specified.

Review Summary
Great work on fixing the critical issue! The early exit condition has been properly removed, allowing your program to create directories independently without requiring files. Your implementation now correctly handles all three scenarios: directories only, files only, and both together. All core requirements are met including proper timestamp formatting, line numbering, cross-platform path handling, and nested directory creation. The code is well-structured with separate functions to avoid duplication. Keep up the excellent progress!
