Review Summary

The test file has a critical mismatch: the test case for splitInteger(3, 4) expects [0, 1, 1, 1] (sorted ascending), but if the implementation produces [1, 1, 1, 0] (unsorted), this test will fail. Since the requirements explicitly state the output must be in ascending sort order, the implementation should produce sorted output. You need to either: 1) Ensure your splitInteger implementation returns results in ascending order (recommended), or 2) If the current behavior is intentional, update the test expectation to match. Additionally, consider adding an explicit length check with expect(result).toHaveLength(numberOfParts) and validating the max-min difference constraint for better test coverage.

The test expectation here is correct per the requirements (evenly distributed values with max-min difference <= 1). However, the current implementation returns [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 4] instead of [0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1]. The implementation needs to distribute the remainder value evenly across parts, not put it all in the last element.
