This PR adds the GCC compatibility to be built and also introduces some QoL improvements to the code. This is WIP

Current Issues:

  • Page fault on the Visual Studio build
  • Invalid memory map size appearances when the Boot project is booted in isolation
  • Need to be sure of error conditions
