This page contains additional information that is beyond the scope of a basic installation.
The repo contains a special flex PCB for use with the Panasonic Q.
There are no step-by-step instructions.
Instead, you have to make yourself familiar with the normal installation guide and inform yourself on how to disassemble the Q (e.g., using this video).
If you feel like modding a Q, you can download the gerbers and the mount.
You can use the same ordering guide for the flex PCB.
The following pictures should give you a rough idea of how to proceed.
The repo contains a solder flex to solder directly to the underside of the GameCube motherboard. This is intended for installs without a disk drive where a low profile is required.
Caution
The solder flex does not work with a disk drive installed. Do not connect a disk drive if the solder flex is used.
If this fits your install, you can download the gerbers and the mount.
Upload the gerbers zip to JLCPCB and check if your settings match with what is shown below.
