@Natels Is there any context for this aside from grpc/grpc-swift#2193 ? Doesn't seem like they've officially responded there. |

grpc/grpc-swift#2193 (comment) You're right, they haven't technically said they won't add the pre-built binaries back, but the primary maintainer is suggesting here to build them locally. |

It appears the
grpc-swiftproject maintainers are recommending we build the plugins from source rather than downloading a precompiled version as we were before.This change removes the hardcoded download of
grpc-swift v1.24.0and usesSPMto install the version pinned inPackage.swift.
