was trying to put the atlas out of sight, in another scene. However, this does not seem possible.
my friend also said this when I made the same error:
# note[valy] this should not be saved on scene rather window_manager as window manager is session dependant and will persist until blender is closed,
# while scene will end up duplicating for each blender scene the settings and will lead to settings missmatch

Would be really nice also to put the atlas in here too. I wonder if there are no problems with this.

I would still have to replace Scene with WindowManager in the rest of the codebase.
