manifolds has switched from hmatrix to linearmap-category. Since dynamic-plot and manifolds are strongly coupled, this has incured quite a few changes.

Another important change is the overhaul in the multithreading strategy: previously, every change to the viewport would spawn a new thread for rendering the plot objects. For reasons still not quite clear, this would often completely freeze the UI when the computations were nontrivial. Now we simply generate a fixed pool of renderer threads – one for each independent plot object – and let each of them handle all views for that object.
