This is a simple guide of what is going to happen in NeutrinoCMS development.

  1. Phase one:
    • Add new functionality planned for RC1. Disregard CSS and appearance in the progress. This might include, but is not limited to the following:
      • database revision system done
      • installation with no database connection done
      • database connection loss recovery done
      • multi user environment done
      • full ACL implementation, infinitely nested groups with permissions (in progress)
      • contact form
      • messaging system for registered users (prehaps – feedback needed)
      • remove AJAX features on comments (people complained about not being able to see previous comments) done
      • articles paging
      • downloads paging
      • parse downloads description with markdown
      • improve comment system: remove captcha, add something like Snook’s antispam + captcha in case the spam flag is triggered (reduce stress on regular users)
      • protect registration form with captcha (perhaps – research/feedback required)
      • SEO keywords for categories (both articles and downloads)
      • ?
  2. Phase two
    • Complete CSS cleanup / overhaul. And I mean major ass cleanup and standardization. Current HTML/CSS is just terrible for template-making and maintenance.
    • Possibly introduce new templates
  3. Release and eat cake
    • Create a roadmap to release stuff more often. Current release cycle sucks ass, therefore the author sucks ass. Not acceptable.
