There are two examples for creating schedules on Hydra:

Energy Plus has a library of schedules you can use, the appendix of this document describes the schedules themselves: https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy11osti/46861.pdf

The energy balance shown above is not actually normalized by floor area, rather it's the totals. At least in the example file these results are shown when the "modelEnergyBalance" output from the Energy balance component is connected to the Average data and Monthly Chart components respectively
