- Add pkg-config to base dependencies (required for cmake to detect libs) - Add optional Kafka support section with librdkafka-dev - Update installation script with both packages Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <[email protected]>
- Add logs-enabled and txs-enabled config options to control Kafka publishing independently (both default to true when kafka enabled) - Add config logging at Kafka producer init for easier debugging - Fix Kafka logs not being sent: trigger log processing when Kafka logs enabled (not just when WebSocket clients connected) - Remove per-message verbose logging, keep summary log per tick - Update default_config_bob.json with new config options Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <[email protected]>

can we separate the kafka components?
normal users will not compile with kafka.
