• A user realizes immediately after submission that a mistake was made.

• The button could trigger a confirmation dialog to ensure the user did not accidentally click the "Cancel Last Submission" option.
• Once confirmed, the last submission would be removed from the records, and the user would be allowed to re-enter the correct information.

Well, it's slightly different.

Looking at Google Crowdsource and Mozilla Common Voice there is a very convenient feature that allows the user to go backward to the previously submitted decision and change it, not cancel it completely because that will automatically invalidate my work, it usually happens if I notice something that is not quite right after hitting the submit button until the next page loads.
