I just configure my dev environment with vagrant, I had the 126 error, like I can't execute the binary file, after some researches I found this README from a laravel bundle https://github.com/barryvdh/laravel-snappy, I use the Symfony knpSnappyBundle, and this one to install wkhtmltopdf as a dependency.
This information could help people in the same case ;)
