Disables adding the `method` attribute when sending requests.
when they are coming directly from the network (without any interaction with the Model class).
Adds yarn.lock to source control.
… so that models can be saved in bulk.

This PR fixes special characters (such as
#and&) not being encoded before being sent to the backend, which caused issues.This solution was taken from a pending Pull Request that exists on the original repository.
