My research focuses on climate and cryosphere change, extreme climate events, and cryosphere-related hazards in High Mountain Asia (HMA).
Recently, I have been working on the following topics:
🌏 Glacier modelling: developing AI-accelerated approaches to improve the computational efficiency of ice-flow dynamics simulations, and constructing a novel distributed energy–mass balance model for glacier change assessment.
☀️Extreme temperature events: investigating elevation-dependent changes in extreme temperature events and quantifying their impacts on glacier change.
