In Linux Chrome the same dropped file occasinally represented as DataTransferItem, sometime as a normal File. Control is instable.

In Chrome the same dropped file occasionally represented as DataTransferItem or normal File. Control is instable.
Demo also does not work stable.

No API available to handle this issue.

The issue appears on a regular basis, but not always. The reason behind this behavior could not be identified.

The same thing is happening to me

I'm using:

• Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
• Chrome 121.0.6167.184

It works fine on Firefox 122.0.1

I guess it is a bug in Linux Chrome because on Windows i do not see this issue. Weird.

• Google Chrome 137.0.7151.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)
