Holding — this bump silently cascades the whole eslint toolchain.

Tested locally (rebased onto current main, npm install): npm run build, tsc, and Jest (223 suites / 3801 tests) all pass under TypeScript 6.0.3. However, regenerating package-lock.json for typescript ^6 drifts 14 lockfile entries beyond typescript itself — eslint-config-next's nested eslint-import-resolver-typescript pulls a newer eslint-plugin-react-hooks (7.0.1 → newer), which then flags 9 latent react-hooks/set-state-in-effect errors.

CI's verify job treats lint as non-blocking, so this would go green — but merging it under the label "bump typescript" would quietly pull in an unvetted eslint-toolchain upgrade. Recommend handling TypeScript 6 in a dedicated PR that also addresses the new react-hooks findings, rather than as a routine dependency bump.
