Summary

Requesting deprecation of Archie Chain networks (Chain IDs 1243 and 1244) due to complete infrastructure abandonment.

Evidence of Inactivity

All Archie Chain infrastructure is completely unreachable.

Infrastructure Status

  • Website: archiechain.io - DNS resolution failed
  • Mainnet RPC: rpc-main-1.archiechain.io - DNS resolution failed
  • Testnet RPC: rpc-test-1.archiechain.io - DNS resolution failed
  • Mainnet Explorer: app.archiescan.io - DNS resolution failed
  • Testnet Explorer: testnet.archiescan.io - DNS resolution failed
  • Faucet: faucet.archiechain.io - DNS resolution failed

Technical Details

All endpoints returned DNS resolution errors, indicating the archiechain.io domain and all subdomains are unresolvable. This suggests the domain has either expired or been intentionally abandoned.

Changes

  • Add "status": "deprecated" to _data/chains/eip155-1243.json (ARC Mainnet)
  • Add "status": "deprecated" to _data/chains/eip155-1244.json (ARC Testnet)

Rationale

Following repository policy to mark inactive networks as deprecated rather than deleting them (to prevent replay attacks). The complete DNS failure across all infrastructure indicates this chain is no longer operational.

You successfully submitted a PR! Due to the amount of PRs coming in: we will only look at PRs that the CI is happy with. We can also not hold your hand getting the CI green - just look how others that where merged did it and RTFM. So as long as there is any CI check that reports an error - no human will look at this. You might be able to ask for some support after supporting the project - e.g. by sending funds to lists.eth. When you fixed things after a requested change - then you also need to (re-)request a review.

Indeed seems like the domains have changed hands and/or are expired. Additionally the repositories are dead with no references to a running chain.
