I think this project could really benefit from a fully fledged example of how to use it using real tools.
I went ahead and created a small Node/Express/Sequelize app that can create a user, encrypts the password, and then allows someone to log in as said user. This uses both the
secure-password
functionshash
andverify
.I'm still new to all this authentication + web stuff since most of my background is in iOS but I've tested this and it seems to be working. If you think this can help others who may not know how to get started then feel free to merge it, otherwise no biggie since I mostly did this as a learning experience.
