Working towards an immediate access to any 'self runing' REMARK or other app through the Econ-ARK Materials App Library.

The screenshot below demonstrates current work to date, including updated website structure: HARK, REMARK, OTHER and has clear delineations of each section's contents ie. HARK: Toolkit, REMARK: App Library, OTHERS: Teaching.

The "Econ-ARK Materials App Library" is a new feature giving all users immediate access to all resources they might need by taking advantage of Cameron's page content searchable functionality.

Ideally as a user begins to type, we will reveal an immediate list matching resources closest to your matching input.

This search functionality should provide immediate results as the user types each new character the list below (say max 5, with 'view all'). From each visible results we can potentially present 'view author', 'edit metadata', and 'launch binder' or even our custom servers when needing to.

This improves UX so that a user can potentially type from the homepage and click just once to access a multiple of functionality including load a binder or etc. We will also retain the click through resource page with all metadata.

@DrDrij,

This now has conflicts. Can you fix and let me know when done?

Hi @llorracc. This PR is not ready to be merged. Sorry for not being clear.
This is part of a larger part of work - reimagining materials to actually be on the splash screen. No need for a seperate page. Let's get back to this.

@llorracc I'm glad to hear the interest. I think I pitched these changes last year not at an ideal time.

My idea is to make the econ-ark.org website a dynamic material platform. This would bring the materials onto the landing page. And have filters and potentially useful things like sorting data on popularity of certain materials.

The aim was to ultimately draw more people to EconARK and that way we can cross-pollinate announcements and research between different projects (such as QuantEcon and others).

I am happy to explain more, or have a discussion with you Chris.

Happy to move on with this - let me know your thoughts, until then I am just trying to put together a PR with preview link with the landing page link and button updates you emailed on Friday.

I am indeed upside down, close to family for the moment, working in a new position.
I will be able to commit full attention this Friday, and will walk you through Chris.
