Filling metadata is the core of MetaShARK. It will be filled with two main steps:

  1. EML Assembly Line integration. EML AL is a tool produced by the EDI. It allows a quick way to fill in metadata following EML standard.

  2. MetaFIN developpement. Metadata Fill-In is a project from the PNDB (National Pole for Biodiversity Data) to reach the same goal of filling metadata under EML standard. But MetaFIN is meant to be mostly automated and ask the user to check and fill the least number of terms.
