We are thrilled to announce the release of DeepSeek Desktop 1.0.0! This marks the first stable version of our desktop application, bringing the power of DeepSeek, your AI companion, directly to your computer. With this release, you can enjoy a seamless and personalised experience, complete with support for local storage and cookies.

What is DeepSeek Desktop?

DeepSeek Desktop is a cross-platform desktop application (Windows, macOS, Linux) that provides quick and easy access to the DeepSeek chat interface. Designed to mirror the web experience, it offers the convenience of a native application, right at your fingertips.

  • ✅ Local Storage: Save your preferences and data using localStorage and cookies for a tailored experience.
  • ✅ Cross-Platform: Available for Windows (macOS and Linux support coming soon).

How to Download and Install:

  1. Download the Installer:
    • For Windows: Download the .exe file from the assets below.
    • macOS and Linux versions are not yet available but will be coming soon!
  2. Run the Installer:
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install DeepSeek Desktop on your system.
  3. Launch the App:
    • Open DeepSeek Desktop, log in, and start chatting with the AI.

System Requirements:

  • Windows: Windows 10 or later.
  • macOS: Coming soon in version 1.0.1.
  • Linux: Coming soon in version 1.0.1.

  • Initial release of DeepSeek Desktop.
