Releases: dongle-the-gadget/WinverUWP
2.1.0.0
Release 2.0.3
This release resolves some bugs:
In this release, AppWindow
would be used in Windows 10 May 2019 update and newer, which would cause the main window to automatically close unexpectedly during opening. This is normal behavior.
Also add Windows 10 Creators Update.
Note: This would be the last release you would see in a while, since life gets in the way.
Release 2.0
First 2022 release
It's been a new year, and Release 2.0 is the first WinverUWP release for 2022! This version includes much needed startup improvements and reduced file sizes. Happy New Year everyone!
What's changed
A new backend
This version includes a native UWP backend instead of relying on a Win32 broker, removing the need for using the runFullTrust
restricted capability (Access all system resources), making the total application size reduced, and improve launch times.
New icon
Release 2.0 includes a new icon that puts focus on the application's purpose.
Microsoft Store
Thanks to @FireCubeStudios, WinverUWP is now available in the Microsoft Store!
