Summary

Resolves #1675
This PR introduces an interactive Hash Collision Finder that demonstrates
collision discovery using the birthday attack method.

It supports configurable hash algorithms, adjustable bit truncation,
real-time collision probability tracking, hash attempt analysis, and
educational content about collision resistance and historical hash
vulnerabilities.

Changes

Hash Collision Engine

Implemented support for configurable hash analysis using:

  • MD5
  • SHA-1
  • SHA-256
  • SHA-512

Added adjustable bit truncation to make birthday attack demonstrations
practical across different hash output sizes.

Birthday Attack Analysis

Added:

  • Birthday attack collision searching
  • Collision detection
  • Hash attempt tracking
  • Birthday probability calculations
  • Real-time probability updates
  • Collision statistics

Interactive UI

Added a React interface featuring:

  • Hash algorithm selection
  • Adjustable bit truncation
  • Collision search controls
  • Real-time collision probability tracking
  • Statistics grid
  • Hash attempt table
  • Collision result display

Educational Content

Added educational material covering:

  • Collision resistance
  • Birthday attack concepts
  • Hash security principles
  • Historical hash vulnerabilities

Testing

Added 20+ unit tests covering:

  • Birthday statistics
  • Hash analysis
  • Collision finding
  • Algorithm configuration
  • Bit truncation
  • Collision detection pipeline
  • Educational content validation
  • Edge cases

Verification

  • Hash algorithm selection verified
  • Bit truncation verified
  • Birthday probability calculations verified
  • Collision detection verified
  • Hash attempt tracking verified
  • Collision finding pipeline verified
  • Real-time statistics verified
  • UI visualization verified
  • Educational content verified
  • 20+ unit tests passing

Interactive tool demonstrating hash collisions using the birthday attack
method. Features configurable hash algorithm selection (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256,
SHA-512), adjustable bit truncation, real-time collision probability
tracking, known collision examples, and educational content on collision
resistance. Includes 20+ unit tests.
