Clear SUID/SGID bits when file content is modified through: - open(O_TRUNC): clear after open, invalidate kernel inode cache - setattr with size (truncate): clear after ftruncate - write: clear on normal writes (preserve on writepage as before) - copy_file_range: clear on the output fd - fallocate: clear after allocation The FUSE daemon is responsible for clearing these bits since the kernel VFS SUID/SGID clearing is bypassed for FUSE filesystems. Test that SUID/SGID bits are cleared through: - open(O_TRUNC) via shell redirection - truncate(2) via the truncate command - write(2) via dd All three paths verify the bits are cleared on both the upper layer and the merged (FUSE) view.
