@xhochy, something silly happening in bazel (for once 🤣). It's not respecting CXX, but somehow trying to use CC to derive clang++ (I guess), and then failing

FileNotFoundError: Failed to get clang++ path from clang path: 'x86_64-conda-linux-gnu-clang'. Tried the path: 'clang++'.

I'm already seeing this in #333 , where there are near to no changes. It must have been a very recent change as ~1week ago, nearly all builds were green
