Example Dockerized application deployed on EKS with Helmfile.
This project is part of our comprehensive "SweetOps" approach towards DevOps.
It's 100% Open Source and licensed under the APACHE2.
- Docker for developing, shipping, and running,
- ECR to store the Docker images
- EKS for running application in scale
- Helmfile as declarative deploy manifest
The workflows included with this example are consolidated to this single repository and are intentionally not divided into GitHub reusable workflows. We've done this to better demo a single example and simplify development overhead. However, in practice an organization may have many application repositories that use the same workflows. In that case, we recommend moving the reusable workflows into separate repositories, where they can be shared across application repositories from a central point. In this example move all eks-argocd-* and all workflow-* workflow files to the reusable location, such as a new repository called github-action-workflows.

- Clone the project to your own machine
- Commit changes to your own branch
- Push your work back up to your fork
- Submit a Pull Request so that we can review your changes
NOTE: Be sure to merge the latest changes from "upstream" before making a pull request!
