I've made a small hack to allow to show all uploads (not just ex. 15 - as in pagination limit) in markdown image browser

yeah you're right, well - that's why I wrote it is a hack ;-)

So far it is in the controller not a view directly, I think better this solution for now than the limited view of uploads that can be quite inconvenient... how do you think?

Should the display of Uploads be limited to some elements (like :vieweable => true or sth)? If not I guess all is a good solution :-)
