Home of career-ops — the open-source AI job search agent that evaluates roles against your profile and never submits an application.

"Companies use AI to filter candidates. I just gave candidates AI to choose companies."

career-ops demo

career-ops is an open-source job search agent that runs locally inside the AI coding CLI you already use. It scans career portals and ATSs, evaluates each listing against your profile into a structured A–H report with a global 1–5 score, tailors an ATS-ready CV per role, prepares interviews and negotiation, and tracks your pipeline.

It never submits, sends, or clicks anything — you always have the final call.

It is a filter, not a volume tool: the system recommends against applying below a fit threshold, because your time is worth something and so is the recruiter's.

CareerOps (one word) names the practice. career-ops (hyphenated) is this reference implementation. Both refer to the same project.

Got an invitation to this organization?

It means you've landed 3 or more merged PRs in career-ops. That's the whole criterion: no votes, no nominations, no one deciding on a good day. Accepting adds you to the contributors team — it's recognition, and it's public if you choose to show it (People page, then set your membership to Public). From there the ladder is documented in GOVERNANCE.md: triagers (~10 quality merges), reviewers (~25 plus reviewing others), maintainers (owning an area). Every step is earned in the open.
