C2OS Cinder Lab Instructions

The Cinder automated install takes care of creating an LVM volume for you. However, we still leave the following tasks for you to do for practice:

  1. Create the Nova Networks
  2. Create the Nova Network Security Rules (i.e. enable ping and ssh to the Instances)
  3. Create the Key Pair that will be used to authenticate with the Instance
  4. Create the instance
  5. Create the Cinder Volume
  6. Attach the Cinder Volume to your instance
  7. Detach the Cinder Volume
  8. Delete the Cinder Volume
