What problem this solves
Resolves the request to replace the homepage's flat red background with a visibly animated rainbow gradient on the main landing surface.
Why this change was made
The page background was hardcoded to a single Tailwind red utility. This updates that surface to a CSS-driven gradient animation and adds a request test so the homepage keeps rendering the new background hook.
User impact
The homepage now shows a cycling rainbow gradient behind the existing content instead of a static solid color.
