Planned features:

  • Conversion between encodings (mainly between CP-1250 (Windows czech/slovak default) and UTF-8 (Linux default)

  • Conversion between subtitle formats (mainly .srt and .sub)

  • Semi-automatic subtitle move/stretch: Pick 2 lines in the subtitles (ideally first and last line to be shown) and input where they are said in the actual video. The subtitle times should be moved so the first selected line starts accurately and that the entire rest of the subtitles until the second selected line will speed-up/slow-down based on the ratio of differences between start/end times in subtitle and video file.

    This move/stretch feature should be able to move either whole subtitles (good when your copy of a video misses something from the beginning) or a part of subtitles (good when your copy of a video contains something more in the middle)

  • Manual subtitle stretch (good when you need to convert subtitles between 23.976 FPS and 25 FPS)

  • Manual subtitle line editing (good when you want to correct the subtitles)
