events-and-venues is a WordPress plugin that provides example code that implements a REST interface within WordPress. As well, it creates a shortcode, [ev-venues], that can be dropped into any page or post that creates a Backbone-based MVC UI interface that leverages that REST interface that allows a user to create, read, update or delete Venues.
