after disconnect, subscriptions and pending messages are lost, so there is no point to keep them. When they are kept, after reconnect it is not possible to resubscribe

Thank you for submitting this bug fix! This looks good to me. I don't have any merge rights, you may want to try requesting a review from @bettio, but we also have a long backlog of open PRs in the AtomVM repo so it may take some time to get this merged.
