What This Tool Does

This tool automatically creates a referral strategy document for your neXco chapter by:

1. Scraping your chapter's member directory
2. Extracting member profiles and contact information
3. Generating a structured report with:
   • Member profiles and services
   • Ideal referral profiles (templates to customize)
   • Trigger events to monitor
   • Referral language suggestions
   • Automation criteria for tracking

Quick Start

1. Install

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Install browser
npx playwright install chromium

2. Generate Your Report

npx tsx scripts/generate-referral-strategy.ts https://members.nexconational.com/your-chapter/ output.md

Example:

npx tsx scripts/generate-referral-strategy.ts https://members.nexconational.com/loudoun-b2b/ loudoun-strategy.md

3. Customize the Report

Open the generated .md file and fill in the template sections with details about each member's:

• Ideal referral profile
• Trigger events to monitor
• Referral language
