To discuss:

The instance variables need not be public, as far I read the documentation they are by default private.
Getters and setters are initialized using inbuilt ruby methods, we can even define functions but it will be lengthy.
The fraction part does not work for the following case : 10.045 -> O/p is 10 dollars and 45 cents
