YouTube TimeTag is a simple Chrome extension that allows you to bookmark specific timestamps in YouTube videos, making it easy to return to them later. With this extension, you can quickly navigate back to your tagged videos and resume playback from the exact timestamp, even when you're on a different website.
To install the YouTube TimeTag extension in dev mode:
- Clone this repository to your local machine.
- Open the Chrome browser and go to
chrome://extensions
. - Enable "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the page.
- Click on the "Load unpacked" button and select the directory where you cloned the extension.
- Open a YouTube video in your Chrome browser.
- While the video is playing, you'll see a new "TimeTag" button in the YouTube video control bar.
- Click on the "TimeTag" button at the specific timestamp you want to bookmark.
- The video will be added to the list of tagged videos.
- Click on the YouTube TimeTag extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
- A popup will appear, showing a list of your tagged videos.
- Click on the play button to resume playback or remove it
