Is there any way for the sticky search bar to not interfer with other blocks and interactive elements?

What problem would this solve?

In the Site Editor, the search bar at the bottom is the full width of the editor and it sits above other blocks which cannot be selected.

Is there any way to make this easier to use?

What's your idea?

Compare it with the sticky header overlay?

@henriqueiamarino Unfortunately this also affects the front, but to encounter it, one has to accidentally scroll to the right location.
For example, I can't click the links that are below the post title "social" here:
