The follow-up sample was arriving after the series had already been dropped, so the next count restarted. Hold the series for 5s and send the next window as soon as the first point is visible. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
Connect only when a batch is ready, and drop the socket after idle_timeout so the next write is not lost on a peer close. Check each exporter against each backend it writes to. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
