This repository defines the default dual-license policy that applies to all software published under the Traitome GitHub organization.
All Traitome software is distributed under a dual-license model:

You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute any Traitome software free of charge for:
- Academic or scientific research (including publication of results)
- University / research-institute coursework and teaching
- Personal, non-commercial projects
- Evaluation and benchmarking
No registration or license file is required. Simply comply with the terms in LICENSE-ACADEMIC, which requires attribution and that modified copies carry a similarly open license.
Any use by or within a for-profit organization, or any use whose primary purpose is financial gain, requires a commercial license. Please contact:
