• High number of mating cycles
• Communication interface
• Hot-plugging protection (arc prevention)
  • Mechanical (lock) or electrical (pilot contact or capacitive sensing)
• Load switching (wall side)
  • Small discharge current (e.g. 200 mA) without communication
  • Full power only after communication is established
  • No charging w/o communication allowed
• Possibility for compatible sealed (outdoor) version
