What are SPF Records?

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a method of fighting spam. It is usually step one of setting up a proper domain and is often needed for basic phishing. This prevents unauthorized domains from sending email through your server, creating a open relay. This is in the form of a TXT record in the DNS zone file.
