An ADSB receiver connected to iNav allows the display of data and a proximity warning for the nearest ADSB equipped aircraft. This supports several ADSB receivers some of which are specifically designed for UAV, are incredibly small and weigh only 5 grams.
The OSD will show the following on the display
- direction to the aircraft - relative to the UAV pilot's FPV feed
- distance to the aircraft
- altitude of the aircraft

The following modules are confirmed working with iNav:
- This requires iNav minimum version of 2.6
- Connect the TX output of the ADSB receiver to the RX input of a serial port
- Set the serial port speed to match the receiver specifications (typically 57600)
- Enable Mavlink telemetry on the serial port
- In GUI configurator, enable ADSB from within the general section
The following CLI variables can be used to configure ADSB:
- osd_adsb_range defines the maximum distance (in meters) aircraft will be tracked. Range 0-64000m.
- osd_adsb_alarm defines the distance at which ADSB dat on the OSD will flash to indicate proximity warning of an aircraft. Range 0-64000m.
In the following example CLI settings, the OSD will only data for aircraft within a 10k radius and flash the data as an alarm warning for aircraft within a 1k radius:
set osd_adsb_range = 10000
set osd_adsb_alarm = 1000
