@aspaNeuro @Dario55 I am approving this, but bear in mind we do not want to make this any kind of permanent solution for future experiments. We are currently exploring a generic approach that we prototyped in the behavior board where we implement a low baudrate transmission of the harp timestamp (harp-tech/device.behavior@18714fc).

If this makes it into devices and the harp core, we would support a general decoding utility in harp-python based on harp-tech/harp-python#38 that could be used more broadly for all projects requiring interfacing with non-Harp DAQs.
