Also disconnect any USB devices connected to the machine, including Security dongles, mouse or keyboard since the second stage install might take decisions on your behalf lowering security model (ie: dongles or USB keyboard being connected on next boot will punch holes so that USB keyboard can be used to control dom0, which might or might not be desired).
