## Existing rule sets

Do you have a set of rules you've built with `twittersphere`? Let us know by submitting an [issue](https://github.com/QUT-Digital-Observatory/twittersphere/issues), posting in the [discussions](https://github.com/QUT-Digital-Observatory/twittersphere/discussions), or emailing [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and we can add it to this list. Or feel free to submit a pull request if you'd like to add it yourself!

### The Australian Twittersphere

[The Australian Twittersphere](https://www.digitalobservatory.net.au/resources/australian-twittersphere/) is a longitudinal (2016-2023) collection of tweets from a population of Twitter accounts which explicitly self-identify as Australian or having connection to Australia. The population list (and rule list) and the collection of tweets itself are operated as a databank by the [QUT Digital Observatory](https://www.digitalobservatory.net.au/).

The [Australian Twittersphere rule list](https://researchdatafinder.qut.edu.au/display/n41990) is published as open data as a file compatible with `twittersphere`. You can use it to determine whether a Twitter/X profile would be eligible for inclusion in the Australian Twittersphere.

These population rules can be cited as:
