Lands the two unmerged commits stranded on claude/wake-up-z3y6zi (that branch was never PR'd), cherry-picked onto current main with conflicts resolved — follow-up to #212's note that the active.md retirement was pending.

What this does

  • Retires release-drive-2026-08-03 and release-drive-2026-08-07 from active.md to complete/2026/08/ via the wake-up session's lifecycle.py record --date 2026-08-07 commit. Both entries read as history, not in-flight work; content is carried verbatim (the trap catalogues are the point of the rich records — the discarded rehearsal, the ingest trap, the pre_build untracked-WIP hazard, the PyPI index-propagation race), dropping only the repos-none-claimed lines that mean nothing outside active.md. Verified line-by-line against current main's sections before resolving: zero drift since the branch was cut.
  • Files the falsified-by rote-review research prompt (draft/research/pyautobrain/has_the_falsified_by_checkpoint_stage_gone.md) spun out of PyAutoBrain#130 — the other stranded commit.
  • Conflict resolutions: active.md keeps the version-stamp-sync-guards section main gained after the branch was cut (now 4 live entries: inference-programme-ledger, stored-sample-reconstruction-guard, heart-green-validation-ingest, version-stamp-sync-guards); complete/index.md regenerated via lifecycle.py index --apply (1009 records); dashboard.md regenerated via pyauto-brain intake --apply dashboard (138 prompts).

lifecycle.py check and index --check both pass. Once merged, claude/wake-up-z3y6zi carries nothing unmerged and can be deleted in the next repo_cleanup sweep.

Both entries read as history, not in-flight work: release-drive-2026-08-03
was marked SHIPPED/superseded, and release-drive-2026-08-07 shipped all five
libraries to PyPI at 2026.8.7.1 and was verified against pypi.org.

Written via `lifecycle.py record --date 2026-08-07`, which folds each section
into complete/2026/08/, prunes it from active.md and refreshes complete/index.md
in one step. Content is carried over verbatim -- the trap catalogues are the
point of the rich record (rehearsal #1 discarded on the mid-build merge, the
ingest trap, the pre_build untracked-WIP hazard, the post-publish PyPI
index-propagation race). Only the `repos-none-claimed` line is dropped from
each: it documents an active.md formatting constraint that means nothing once
the entry leaves that file.

active.md is left holding the two genuinely live entries (pix-prodigy-gpu-compat,
heart-green-validation-ingest). lifecycle check + index --check both OK.

PyAutoBrain#130's stated close-condition named two remaining human decisions,
and both turn out to be already answered: the scheduled-nightly standing grant
was made 2026-07-09 (PyAutoBrain/AUTONOMY.md, predating the issue and live every
night since), and the memory-system question is decided in the design doc's own
§6 -- "memory earns its keep as consult-on-purpose context and fails reliably as
guard-at-the-moment", with the conversion policy that follows from it.

What was genuinely still open is a different §9 item: mitigation 6 shipped with
a commitment to "review whether it went rote after ~10 ships", and nothing in
the Mind tracked it -- no draft, active, planned, parked or ideas entry. Filing
it here so closing #130 does not drop it.

Filed through the Intake Agent (research / PyAutoBrain / small / safe); the body
is expanded from intake's single-paragraph capture into the investigation
sections, including the rubber-stamping signature to look for and a
validate-the-instrument note, since a low firing rate and a broken lifter look
the same from the outside (the D1 null-result-as-finding trap).

…_profiling#214 merged

Phase 1 of gaussian-deflections-precompute: L1/L2 fixed-geometry deflection
memo on the numpy path (Basis-30 hst 135.6 -> 6.3 ms, 21.5x; SLaM-shaped
likelihood 3.0x bit-identical; _wofz witness [60,0,0]). Epic stays open —
phase 2 (JAX trace-time constant) is next; epics.md and the ledger repointed.

#214 needed a merge-from-main to reconcile its results-notes append with
#215's (jax-faddeeva-clamp-audit, the parallel claim on the same two repos).
