Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Archipelago Version 2.0

New Settings

  • Boss Randomizer: Randomizes boss encounters. Bosses will drop the Soul corresponding to the boss that was ORIGINALLY at that spot, so that logic/locations don't change.
  • Shuffle Magic Seals: Swaps which Magic Seal belongs to which boss. This also changes the doors, and also the logic for reaching them.
    Early Seal 1 will guarantee that Flying Armor still uses Seal 1.
  • Randomize Seal Patterns: Randomizes the rotation and drawing patterns for each Magic Seal.
  • Goal settings have been COMPLETELY overhauled.
    • Garden Condition: Sets the condition required to trigger the Garden of Madness/bad ending event
    • Menace Condition: Sets the condition required to fight the final boss
    • Mine Coniditon: Sets the condition required to enter the Mine of Judgment
      Current conditions available are: None: No additional condition, always available
      Throne Room: Defeat the boss of the Pinnacle
      Garden: Survive the bad ending in the Garden of Madness
      Bosses: Defeat ALL bosses
      More conditions will likely be added in the future. If the goal is Throne Room, the Throne Room condition will be set to None for Menace, and the other Conditions will be considered impossible to complete, accordingly.

Changes

  • Removed the ice blocks that spawn after defeating Balore
  • Zephyr's left boss door has been moved in front of the actual door
  • There is now a button near the Condemned Tower that will repair (and re-break) the tower floors after defeating Gergoth. Because of this, Condemned Tower is now in logic without needing extra mobility to cross the broken floors
  • Random Starting Warp Room can now roll Condemned Tower
  • Seal Doors now tell you which seal opens them
  • Seals which do not have any doors that open them (only used in Seal Shuffle) are no longer placed in the item pool.
  • Menace now logically requires a high movement ability if not changed to Soma
  • Abyss Plus goal has been REMOVED in favor of setting individual Goal Conditions.
    To restore the previous Abyss Plus behavior, set Goal to Abyss, Mine Condition to garden, and Garden Condition to Throne Room
  • Dark Chapel Bell Room Right can now be gotten with Black Panther

Fixes

  • Fixed Gergoth's upper boss doors despawning before the Soul was collected
  • Fixed the in-game Soul Check tracker sometimes showing Souls that aren't in the location pool
  • Fixed a bug where the One-Screen Mode map coordinates would be incorrect if you saved and reloaded in the Abyss
  • Fixed the game not generating a 1:1 soul count for Rare soulsanity

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Archipelago Version 1.4

New Settings

  • Gate Items: Adds keys for the 4 button gates. If it's set to Buttonsanity, the buttons themselves will have Checks, and will no longer open the gates.
  • Passive Soul Eater Ring: If enabled, you'll get the x2 soul chance bonus just by having the Soul Eater Ring in your inventory, without equipping it
  • Hard Mode: Puts the game in Hard Mode.

Changes

  • Added an extra logical divider in Subterranean Hell and Silenced Ruins
  • Slightly tweaked some Soul regions
  • Removed Mollusca, Frozen Shade, and Malacoda from the Soul Wall Pool
  • Added a proper setup guide to the documentation

Fixes

  • Fixed the Osafune appearing as a Soul Can
  • Fixed the Lost Village upper area still connecting to lower without speed boost(?)

Randomize Soul Walls: Randomizes which bullet souls are required to break the 4 red Soul Walls
Randomize Synthesis Souls: Randomizes which souls are required for weapon synth
Free Bat: Removes Bat Company's MP cost

Changes

  • Added a randomizer version number to the title screen
  • Filler soul logic has been significantly adjusted and is now more cleanly checked for when not playing soulsanity (as in, logic will have you actually grind/get a soul instead of assuming it can be gotten)
  • The Soulsanity bestiary now distinguishes between which Souls are and are not checks (and the percent display is updated accordingly)
  • Removed the LV backdash jump from logic due to there being multiple options to reduce early bk now
  • The Chaos Ring's chance of appearing has been raised from 1% to 10%

Fixes

  • Hopefully fixed more soul classes AGAIN
  • Fixed EXP multiplier breaking when set too high
  • Fixed starting soulsanity items not being logical
  • Cleaned up some leftover logic in Subterranean Hell

  • Shop randomizer can no longer roll additional potions, mind ups, or claymores (as Hammer is always guaranteed to sell these items)
  • Adjusted the Killer Fish and Needles soul in Sub. Hell to require Rahab as they can be underwater and impossible to damage with base weaponry

  • Swapped the descriptions of exp and soul percents
  • Fixed Deathlink sending deaths even if you turned deathlink off
  • Fixed Mine of Judgment's music not randomizing
  • Fixed extra Killer Clown souls being marked as useful instead of progression
  • Fixed the HUD getting removed if you entered the bad ending room without defeating Aguni on Abyss+ goal

  • Shop Randomizer: Randomizes Hammer's shop items
  • Deathlink: Standard deathlink. Kills others when you die, kills you when others die.
  • Enemy Drop Shuffle: Randomizes what items enemies drop
  • Experience Percent: Multiplies EXP by the percent specified
  • Soul Drop Percent: Multiplies enemies' base soul drop chance by the percent specified
  • Music Randomizer: Randomizes music
    Area music shuffle + boss music shuffle

Changes

  • You can no longer receive items while a text prompt is onscreen (This fixes some minor issues stemming from receiving a new Soul while text was up)
  • The Bestiary (and top screen enemy display) will now show when a Soul has been checked, instead of obtained, if playing on Soulsanity
  • You are no longer stopped from picking up an item if you have 9 of that item
  • Removed yoko's yapping after defeating flying armor
  • You can now add all souls of a rarity to guaranteed souls

Fixes

  • Fixed the Iron Golem soul not logically requiring you to use Imp
  • Fixed some logic in Subterranean Hell

Super Smash Bros. Melee Archipelago Version 1.1

New Settings

  • Hard All-Star Clear has been REPLACED with Hard Mode Clears, which covers all main 1-Player Modes and the Very Hard bonus (if bonuses are enabled)
  • 10-Man Sanity: Adds a check for each character clearing 10-Man Melee

Changes

  • Classic Clear Game & Watch (the flat zone check) reassigned to Any Main 1P mode
  • Added a new Command to the client; /rig (trophy)- Using this allows you to pay 30 coins while in the lottery to gurantee your next pull will be a trophy that you specify, from any of your unlocked lottery pools.

Fixes

  • Assigned the Topi and Polar Bear KO bonuses to Adventure mode
  • Fixed numerous bonuses having their trigger being off by one (Poser, Angelic, avenger KO, coward, weight lifter, stale moves)
  • Fixed Vanilla lottery pool not generating
  • Kirby Hat 4 now triggers properly
  • Fixed the Hobbyist bonus not triggering
  • Fixed Falco's unlock match not triggering if you previously completed the Mewtwo unlock match
  • Fixed Tap Jump still triggering on Kirby/Jigglypuff's multi jump and shield jumps

Known Issues

  • The Percent display on the Lottery menu can be wonky and incorrect. The ACTUAL likelihood of rolling a new trophy functions as expected.
  • Getting all of the trophies in a lottery pool will say your trophy class increases, however the class increase ha been removed

Super Smash Bros. Melee Archipelago Version 1.0.2
