Prepare
0.1.0-beta.1without changing the runtime implementation. The candidate documents the supported API, error precedence, host obligations, upgrade limits and the separate decision to approve a dependency source.Add three downstream-style tests for minimal trait bounds and simultaneous context/value/validation conflicts. Keep the existing local-helper comparison, cancellation/Undo walkthrough and retry example.
Validation: Rust 1.88 lifecycle tests, consumer contract tests, retry tests and doctest; rustfmt and strict Clippy; both examples and context evidence; crates.io dry run. Extracted-archive and hosted results are recorded below.
This PR does not publish a package or change external source gates. The published alpha.5 stays available; beta status does not imply adoption or a 1.0 stability commitment.
Final verification on
4d99d11fc7c7c54987006f7e759a215ae564ddd8: CI passes both Rust 1.88 and stable jobs. Tests/examples also pass from the extracted candidate crate. The same three new consumer tests pass against the SHA-256-verified published alpha.5 archive in a separate no_std consumer; its runtime source matches the candidate byte for byte.
