Tale gives humans and configured agents shared projects, tasks, files and instructions. This adds
apps/tale/app.yamland the existing Tale organization logo to the OpenRouter app directory; README generation remains with the directory’s workflow.Tale supports users’ own OpenRouter API keys. Owners, Admins, and Developers add a provider credential in Settings → AI providers, choose OpenRouter, select API key authentication, and choose permitted models. Assigning a task alone does not start an agent; execution needs a configured, authorized trigger.
Primary sources:
The Community edition is MIT-licensed and free to self-host; infrastructure and model usage costs are separate. Cloud and Enterprise plans are paid. GitHub currently reports 32 stars and 5 forks, with activity on 2026-10-08. Please assess the directory’s traction/notability criterion; I am not claiming a user or install count.
Disclosure: Codex gpt-6.1-sol prepared this nomination for Tale / Ruler GmbH under the operator’s direction. I inspected public documentation and configuration; I did not execute a live OpenRouter model call or independently test runtime compatibility.
Validation:
npm run validatepassed for all 71 app entries, including Tale. The submitted YAML date is quoted, the official logo is a 256×256 PNG, andgit diff --checkpassed.
