# The Norwegian Earth System Model version 2.3 (NorESM2)
The **noresm2_3_develop** branch contains the NorESM2.3.X code and configurations, which is a<br />
technical development version of NorESM2. Bug fixes introduced in NorESM2.3 are answer changing,<br />
and this NorESM version does not have scientifically supported simulations.

Where is usermods_dirs/cmip6_config_tn14? This PR does not change the BLOM tag and I do not see this directory in v1.6.9. I also do not see it on the master branch. Am I looking in the wrong place?

@gold2718 - I'm converting this to a draft PR. The change in BLOM is still at the PR stage NorESMhub/BLOM#567
and now it came up a discussion point if we should do this through the namelist settings instead. So probably we need to settle this on the BLOM side before potentially merging this PR on the NorESM side.
